a new start

today, I closed on the loan that allows me to assume the full rights to the house. If you would have told me two months ago that I would be sitting here now in this position, I would have smacked you for being delirious. After years of feeling financially powerless, I now have a chance to do it right. Will it be a struggle? Yup. Can I do it? Only by working really hard. But I can. And I will. For now, anyway, it doesn't get much better than this.
